Opportunity Changes Everything

Bosma Enterprises creates opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired. This is our mission. It’s what drives us – because we believe opportunity changes everything. The opportunity to learn. The opportunity to grow. The opportunity to succeed. These opportunities change lives.

Since 1915, Bosma Enterprises has helped people navigate blindness. Our home base is in Indiana, but our vision extends far beyond. We want nothing less than equal opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired.

We teach people experiencing vision loss how to navigate work and life with success. We offer job training and employment programs that get people working. We also provide rehabilitation services that enable independent living.

That’s what we do, but the real value is in the effect. Here’s what we see: People breaking down barriers. People growing in their independence and self-confidence. People challenging preconceptions.

What began as a state-run vocational program over 100 years ago has grown into a thriving, independent non-profit organization that offers comprehensive resources for Hoosiers who are blind or visually impaired.

Today, Bosma Enterprises is the leading provider of rehabilitation and training services for people experiencing blindness or visual impairment. We are also Indiana’s largest employer of Hoosiers who have lost their vision, providing job opportunities across our lines of business.

We are proud to be a trusted voice of expertise and advocacy, leading the way on innovative services and upward mobility for people who are blind or visually impaired.

We invite you to join us in our mission. Find out more about how we help and how you can get involved.
