Jaws Script Writer/Assistive Technology Assistant

As a JAWS Script Writer and Assistive Technology Assistant at Bosma Enterprises, Imran Ahmed is the keeper of many skills and talents. Being blind since birth, he finds his job of helping other individuals who are blind or visually impaired, truly rewarding.
Imran joined our Bosma Enterprises’ staff in early September of 2010. Imran works to teach and educate clients on how to use assistive technology. He primarily teaches clients how to use JAWS Screen Reader and Zoomtext, but also teaches his clients general computer knowledge and skills. Imran also is skilled in writing JAWS scripts for different programs at Bosma Enterprises.

Experience
Before Bosma Enterprises, Imran studied History and Economics at Fg-Sir-Syed College in Pakistan. He later came to the United States to obtain his degree in IT. After obtaining his degree he moved to Indiana to marry his wife, Jan Ahmed, also a Bosma Enterprises employee, and to acquire employment.
About Imran
Imran is an avid Cricket fan and is always following the sport. He is also fluent in four, different languages: Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and English. Besides his passion for computers and program writing, Imran also likes to read and listen to the radio.
Some of Imran’s largest accomplishments are his completion of the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, his Beep Baseball Tournament Championship and his child on the way.
