Vice President, Program Services and Human Resources

One of the keys to Bosma’s success has been its highly structured approach to meeting goals and identifying opportunities, much of which starts with Joice Wade. As VP of Program Services and Human Resources, Joice develops and implements a wide variety of creative and innovative programs designed to make it easier for people who are blind or visually impaired to find and succeed in meaningful employment and independent living.
Programs for which Joice is responsible include:
- Center-based Rehabilitation Services
- Community-based Rehabilitation Services
- Vocational Assessments
- Employment Placement
- Student Training and Employment Program (STEP)
- Counseling
In addition, Joice oversees the Individualized Program Plans that help each Bosma employee set and reach annual employment and personal goals.

Joice was responsible for program design and implementation, as well as human resources issues. Preparing students who are blind or visually impaired for the adult world, created a natural transition to work at Bosma with adults seeking employment.

Manchester College, B.S., Psychology and Sociology
Joice and her husband Everett are the proud parents of six children: Meegan, Meade, Joyce, Darryl, Tiffany and Cory. In her spare time, Joice enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling, especially to cheer on her youngest son, who was recently drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
