Vice President, Finance and Accounting

As a non-profit/business hybrid, Bosma’s financials are a bit more complex than the average organization.
Like any manufacturing business, Bosma must track inventory, juggle a payroll of salaried and hourly employees, assure that both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are up to date, and accurately report and analyze operations. Like other non-profits, Bosma must account for every charitable donation and how it was spent.
Fortunately, Pat Gadzala has the skills and experience to handle it all. As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Pat contributes greatly to Bosma’s current and future financial success. From clearly documented policies and procedures to the MAS 200 accounting software she oversees, Pat assures that Bosma’s management team has the data and financial analyses they need to make sound business decisions.
Experience
Pat came to Bosma from the ‘for profit’ world where she gained extensive experience in a wide variety of industries and held positions ranging from auditor, to controller, to consultant. Companies she worked for have included PricewaterhouseCoopers, Robert Half International, and Resources Connection. Pat also knows what it’s like to run her own company – she and her husband have owned several restaurants and retail and wholesale bakery businesses.
Education
Indiana University, B.S., Accounting
DePaul University – Chicago, Master of Taxation
Certified Public Accountant.
As she has time, Pat still enjoys helping her husband J.P. with his catering business. In her free time Pat enjoys classical music, movies, going to restaurants, walking on the Canal and politics.
