Purchasing Manager

As Purchasing Manager, Stephanie Richardson is responsible for purchasing most products entering Bosma doors including Surgical and Exam gloves, Signage, Bistro, Facilities, and office supplies. She is additionally responsible for vendor relations, negotiations, and ISO evaluations, sourcing, forecasting/trending, and inventory management. She feels the most important part of her job is making sure product is available to customers at the time of order placement, and minimizing expenditures.
Experience
Stephanie brings eight years experience with her to Bosma Enterprises. Before coming to Bosma Enterprises' in June 2008, Stephanie worked inside Allison Transmissions through their contract Chemical Management Program for Chemico-Mays Company as a Business Manager. At that time she was responsible for all chemical purchasing for the eight Allison facilities in the area, as well as inventory control, month end financials, and all aspects of ISO 9001 certifications. During her last year of service with Chemico-Mays as their Corporate Business Manager, she trained and managed six Purchasing Managers throughout the Midwest, was responsible for month end financials for all programs, as well as developing and negotiating new business with several General Motors Chemical Management programs.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband Drew and their four children; Amber (22 years), Adam (17 years), Leslie (17 years) and Abby (9 years). She also likes to garden, play Wii, bake, and make jewelry. Stephanie has a Chihuahua named Red, whom she loves dearly.
