Occupational therapist Kay Neseem has partnered with Bosma Enterprises to package and distribute Kay Kare braces to government and commercial businesses. Kay is proud to be partnering with Bosma Enterprises and believes in our mission and vision to lower the staggering 70% unemployment rate among people who are blind or visually impaired.

The relationship between Kay and Bosma Enterprises began when Jeff Mittman, President & CEO of Bosma Enterprises, and Sheri Hottle, Senior Director of Business Development, were attending a Small Business Administration (SBA) Federal Summit in Washington, DC in 2018. During the question and answer portion of the summit, Kay spoke about her Kay Kare brace: a new and innovative shoulder/arm brace that does not have a strap that pulls on the neck, thereby reducing the risk of secondary neck problems. Kay then went on to talk about the challenges she was having with getting her braces into the federal sector. Jeff and Sheri listened to her problem and approached her after the meeting to tell her about Bosma Enterprises and the work we do with the Department of Veteran Affairs by supplying them with high-quality medical products, and how we could help get her Kay Kare braces into the federal sector.

Kay was intrigued and wanted to learn more about Bosma Enterprises and how we could help. Jeff and Sheri shared how we employ people who are blind in Indiana, who face a 62 percent unemployment rate, and why partnering with Bosma Enterprises is good for business. “We believed in Kay and her product,” Sheri said.
Jeff and Sheri were excited for the opportunity to work with Kay and knew our skilled workforce and sales team could help get her braces into the federal market.

Kay is proud to partner with Bosma Enterprises and believes in our mission and vision to lower the staggering 62 percent unemployment rate among people who are blind or visually impaired.  Bosma Enterprises is now packaging and selling Kay Kare braces in the federal and commercial markets. The more Kay Kare braces we sell, the more employment opportunities we can offer to offset that staggering unemployment rate among Hoosiers who are blind or visually impaired.
