Opportunity for Hoosiers
with Vision Loss

Every Hoosier deserves the chance to live independently and pursue meaningful work – regardless of vision. Bosma supports people who are blind and visually impaired with the skills training, assistive technology and employment services that allow them to thrive at home, in the community and on the job.

The Growing Need for
Vision Rehabilitation
in Indiana

More than 160,000 Hoosiers are blind or visually impaired. Unemployment in the blindness community is over double the average unemployment rate – not due to lack of ability, but lack of access to training and resources. And with an aging population, vision loss in the U.S. is expected to double by 2050, increasing demand for rehabilitation, in-home support and accessible technology.
