We create opportunities for Hoosiers who are blind or visually impaired by raising funds to support the Bosma Visionary Solutions Center – Indiana’s largest provider of comprehensive vision rehabilitation services.

We envision a future where every person experiencing vision loss has access to the resources, support and opportunities they need to live independently and fully.
Expanding Opportunities for People with Vision Loss
We were founded on a simple belief: opportunity improves lives – now and for generations to come.
For more than 100 years, Bosma has worked to expand opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired through employment, training and rehabilitation services. Today, that need remains critical.
Vision loss can happen suddenly, often due to injury or disease, requiring individuals to relearn everyday tasks and navigate new challenges. In Indiana alone, more than 160,000 adults are blind or visually impaired, and many face significant barriers to employment and independence. With an unemployment rate for people who are blind that is more than twice the average, access to resources and support is more important than ever.
That’s where we come in.
Founded in 2009, Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation exists to ensure these life-changing services remain accessible. Through the generosity of our donors, we help fund programs at little to no cost for clients.
Each year, events like the Bosma Visionary Golf Classic, and Dining in the Dark help fuel this mission. Today, we raise more than $1 million annually and serve over 1,000 clients – thanks to a community committed to making a difference.

Since our founding, we’ve worked alongside donors, partners and the community to expand access to critical services and create lasting change.
