We put high school students who are blind or visually impaired on the road to employment. Our Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) helps high school students who are blind or visually impaired explore various career paths, learn essential job skills and develop a portfolio. This beneficial skill building for students who are blind or visually impaired is the first step to gaining viable employment. In collaboration with the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the student training program is a mix of classroom learning, hands-on work experience and recreational activities.
